Brazilian esports organization paiN Gaming announced Thursday that mobile app Ame Digital will serve as a sponsor. The deal will run for one year and the brand will be displayed on the jerseys and the streams of paiN’s League of Legends (LoL), VALORANT, Free Fire, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), and Clash Royale teams.
Ame Digital is an app by fintech company Ame, which serves as a payment method in a number of online and offline stores in Brazil. The app seeks to be a payment hub for its users and has a special area dedicated to the gaming audience. Ame says that it hopes the sponsorship with paiN will be a way to consolidate the brand in the esports market and approach fans of the gaming business.
Besides the brand display on jerseys and during live streams, paiN’s commercial VP Allan Fernandes says Ame will count on exclusive brand activations by the team, and every player from the sponsored lineups are available for promotional activities with the sponsor.
