Apostolos “MaybeNextTime” Verros announced on Twitter that he has left Vega Squadron, who confirmed the departure on the organization’s website.
VG made its first foray into the European region by signing the Lithium team in October that reached the DreamLeague Season 10 Minor despite not qualifying after other teams were forced to withdraw.
VG finished 5-6th at the Minor, failing to secure a spot to compete at the first Major of the new season.
VG was also eliminated in the lower bracket finals of the Stockholm Major qualifiers, losing to OG and Team Liquid.
While MaybeNextTime said he would like to find a new EU team to play for, the 26-year-old Greece native is open to relocating as well. He played the fourth position for VG.
“As of today I am no longer part of @VegaSquadron Dota 2 roster,” he tweeted Wednesday.
“I wish the organization and the boys best of luck in their future endeavours! I am currently looking for a team preferably in EU but willing to relocate.”
