Dota 2: T1 Acquires March As New Coach

T1 has made a massive transfer that will definitely help them in the future.

T1 is a very most popular League of Legends teams that’s won numerous events. However, they’ve had little to no luck when it comes to Dota 2. Even though they tried to bring over some of the best Asian players, the team was simply unable to live up to the expectations. Hence, they disbanded their squad and decided to start from scratch.

After announcing their new team, T1 also decided to add Park “Match” Tae-won.

The New Transfer

March is widely regarded as one of Dota 2’s best captains. He has been a part of numerous teams over the years and had a major role in each one. It seems like he decided to join the only Dota 2 organization from his country in an attempt to create a new and powerful team.

Nonetheless, instead of playing as a support, March will actually take over the coaching position. This means that the previous coach Chou “cCarter” Byong-hoon will have to wave goodbye to his position. CCarter is one of the people who decided to make a move from LoL to Dota 2, but it seems like his expertise was not enough to help T1.

We are still not sure whether March will try to rebuild the team or not. Right now, T1 has really good players on paper, but when it comes down to results, the team is still behind the big names in SEA.

It is also worth pointing out that T1’s Dota 2 roster currently has only four places. Furthermore, Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky, as well as March, are both helping Among Us in the Dota Summit 13 SEA division.

It will be really interesting to see whether there will be a new South Korean squad. Some fans assumed that we might see the old MVP back in the game. Even though this is highly unlikely, Kim “Febby” Yong-min, Lee “Forev” Sang-don, and Kim “DuBu” Doo-young are still actively playing, so who knows what will happen?
