Flamengo Partners With B4 eSports to Enter Free Fire Esports

Flamengo Esports, an esports organization belonging to the traditional Brazilian soccer club Clube de Regatas Flamengo and currently managed by Simplicity Esports, announced a partnership with B4 eSports to enter Garena’s Free Fire competitive scene. Through the deal, Flamengo will be playing in the first division of the Brazilian Free Fire League (LBFF).

Simplicity Esports President Roman Franklin told The Esports Observer: “We are thrilled to expand the reach of Flamengo with the addition of a Free Fire team. It allows us to engage a predominantly mobile audience. B4 has created a solid foundation and will be a great partner for Flamengo because of the quality and professionalism of their staff and players.”

Prior to the announcement, Flamengo Esports only competed in League of Legends in the Brazilian Championship of League of Legends, or CBLoL.

Other big Brazilian soccer clubs also have Free Fire teams, such as Corinthians, Cruzeiro, and Santos. Free Fire is one of the most prominent esports in Brazil thanks to its accessibility and popularity.
