NFL pro and gaming ambassador Juju Smith-Schuster, along with his mother Sammy Schuster, have signed a strategic partnership agreement with women-focused gaming organization Queens Gaming Collective. The pair have also become new investors in the company.
As part of the new partnership, the two will come aboard as cultural ambassadors, joining Queens Gaming’s so-called Queens Court alongside current ambassadors Baron Davis and Allie Long.
The investment, alongside contribution from women-owned venture capital firm Reign Ventures, closes out Queens Gaming Collective’s seed funding round with an additional “half-a-million dollars,” according to a release. Last November, Queens Gaming announced a $1.5M raise in its seed round led by BITKRAFT Ventures.
