After nearly a month of waiting, Ubisoft Montreal has released Season 1 of Hyper Scape battle royale. For fans of the game, this update has been highly anticipated, as the game is coming out of beta. Also, you can play on more platforms now that both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have access. However, there are more than just new platforms in the update. Ubisoft has introduced a new weapon, Hack, and more for the big Season 1 launch. Let’s check out everything that arrived with Hyper Scape Season 1.
Hyper Scape and the Season 1 content
Nicknamed “The First Principle,” Season 1 of the fast-paced battle royale can now be downloaded on all major platforms, excluding Nintendo Switch. If you played previously on PC but want to transfer over your data to PS4 or Xbox One, you can do so with cross-progression.
Unfortunately, cross-play was not included in the update. Although, Ubisoft does state that it’s working on the feature and should be expected at a future date. The developers made sure to note that cross-play will be optional as well.
In regards to the Season’s content, there’s a good amount to unpack. Hyper Scape now has an additional weapon, Hack, and all-new Battle Pass. You can read about each down below, courtesy of the official patch notes.
New weapon – DRAGONFLY
A silenced, semi-automatic precision rifle that brings the total number of available weapons to 11. Keep your options open as you engage rivals from afar, all while keeping a lower profile.
