Adorable Mew Build-A-Bear Plushie Now Available Online

Build-A-Bear is no stranger to Pokemon plushies, but you’d be hard-pressed to find one more adorable than this newly announced Mew. The mysterious pink Pokemon comes with a Mew Cape, a Master Ball Hoodie, and is even programmed to make five different sounds.

The Mew plushie is an online exclusive, so don’t go rushing out to your local Build-A-Bear hoping to fluff up your own. Everything listed above is included in the base price of $61.00, which is pretty steep for a plushie – but par for the course when it comes to Build-A-Bear.

Here’s what the company has to say about the adorable new Pokemon stuffed animal:

“Mythical fun awaits with Mew! You don’t have to be psychic to know that this pink Pokémon has unique powers. Mew has pink fur, blue eyes, and a long tail. Pokémon Trainers will love its exclusive cape, Master Ball hoodie, and 5-in-1 sound chip included!”

It also mentions it cannot be purchased “unstuffed” and that “a scent cannot be placed inside this furry friend.” I’m not quite sure what that last one means – and I honestly don’t want to find out.

Build-A-Bear’s Pokemon products are only purchasable as a bundle, so you won’t be able to snag a Mew Cape or Master Ball Hoodie from its shop as standalone products. If Mew isn’t your style, however, there are several other Pokemon currently available from its online shop. These include Eevee, Pikachu, Snubbull, and Dragonite.
