ORIGINAL STORY – FIFA 20 EA Access trial is launching today and it couldn't be a more exciting time for FIFA 20 fans on Xbox One, PC Origin AND PS4.

Yes, you read that last console correctly. Because for those who might have forgotten, EA Access came to PlayStation 4 earlier this year.

And following a successful rollout for the games FIFA 20 Web App, it's time for EA Sports to boot up the full game, or at the least the EA Access trial.

This Early Access period will be critical for fans of the game who not only want to play the game early and perfect their skills following the most recent changes.

But on top of that, it's equally important to consider that players can build up all their FIFA points, coins and new FUT players during the EA Access trial ready to transfer over to the full game when it launches next week.

So regardless if you're going to start playing next Tuesday (September 24th) with the Champions/Ultimate edition, or next Friday (September 27) with your standard edition, it's all beneficial. So…

When is FIFA 20 EA Access out?

The FIFA 20 EA Access and Origin Access period begins TODAY, Thursday September 19.

This if for all players on all platforms. PC, Xbox One and for the first time ever, PS4.

An official start time for the FIFA 20 EA Access and Origin Access trial hasn’t been revealed yet by EA.

HOWEVER, the EA Access Twitter account has in the last 30 minutes provided something of an impromptu bit of clarity.

What time is FIFA 20 EA Access out?

The EA Access Twitter account was candidly joking about the services going offline and the number of FIFA players who were overloading the service.

It appears this lead to some confusion and prompted the following Tweet from the official EA ACcess account:

To clear up some confusion, the FIFA 20 Play First Trial is not currently live and does not go live until the morning of the 19th in the Pacific time zone. We’re aiming to begin the rollout before noon."

So it seems that the FIFA 20 EA Access trial should launch at around 8pm BST for everyone in the UK.

For those wanting to join in with all the fun on the FIFA 20 EA Access trial, it's worth remembering that EA Acces or Origin Access is not a free service.

It doesn't even have a free 14-day trial.

Nope, if you want EA Access you'll need to pay $4.99/£3.99/€3.99 per month for the pleasure.

Alternatively, you could fork out $29.99/£19.99/€24.99 for a yearly subscription.

Whilst this might seem slightly expensive, also consider that you can also enjoy a slew of Electronic Arts games on the service.

This includes everything from Battlefield V, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Anthem to golden oldies like Dead Space.

Those who do decide to jump into the game will also have a better chance of earning more coins and unpacking some of the games new FIFA 20 TOTW players who were released earlier today.
