Final Fantasy 14's Endwalker expansion is finally here, adding a wealth of new content for players to enjoy, including a couple of new job roles — Sage and Reaper. The scythe-wielding Reaper hails from Garlemald and can summon spectral avatars to aid them in battle.

If you want to unlock this new DPS job, we've got everything you need to know right here. Once unlocked, Reaper's job level begins at level 70.

How To Unlock Reaper

To unlock the Reaper job you must speak to the Flustered Attendant in Ul'dah – Steps of Nald (X:12.8 Y:8.6)and complete the quest 'The Killer Instinct'. In order to accept this quest, you must be a Disciple of War or Magic at level 70 and have purchased the Endwalker expansion.

Once you've spoken with the Flustered Attendant, you'll be directed to head towards Uldah – Steps of Thal (X:13.9, Y:11.4) to speak to Jijilyo.

After meeting with The Reaper and her companions, head over to Pearl Lane at Uldah – Steps of Thal (X:13.5, Y:11.5) and speak to the Loyal Lemure to gain entry.

After the cutscene, speak with Drusilla to complete the quest to receive the Soul of the Reaper, Muzhik Attire Coffer, and a high-quality Deepgold War Scythe — everything you need to become a Reaper.

How To Change To The Reaper Job

Equip your new scythe in the Character menu to change to Reaper.

Don't forget to use your Muzhik Attire Coffer and equip your new gear, then you'll be ready for your first job quest! Speak to Drusilla to accept "The Harvest Begins" and get an introduction to your brand new job role.
