Fortnite developer Epic Games has released a brand new set of challenges, separate from the weekly Epic and Legendary Quests.
The new Fortnite challenges coincide with the release of the Free Guy skin in the item shop.
Fans who complete five of the challenges will unlock a free emote, ahead of the release of the movie tie-in Free Guy skin.
The Free Guy skin is available from the item shop at 1am BST on August 13.
The Free Guy emote, on the other hand, is available for free, but only if you complete the challenges by September 6.
“Meet Guy. He’s just your ordinary, everyday… nevermind. Guy’s just learned his life as a Bank Teller isn’t exactly what he thought. He’s actually a background player in an open-world game. So now he’s arriving in Fortnite?” reads the official description.
“Search for ATM machines and follow Guy’s instructions to complete the newly-released Free Guy Quests.
“Your reward? A chance to show your good… no… great side with the Good Guy Emote.”
To stand a chance of unlocking the emote for free, the first thing you’ll need to do is visit an ATM and accept a challenge.
As you can see from the map above, ATMs can be found in built up areas, usually outside of gas stations.
Just interact with the ATM to bring up a list of challenges you can accept from the man himself.
Challenges task players with getting hit by a moving vehicle, rebooting teammates, taking melee damage and talking with an NPC.
The only one that might prove at all problematic is the challenge where you have to place three coins.
Fortunately, however, the video below has all of the locations you need to visit. Just make sure you complete the challenges by September 6 and you’ll unlock the emote for free.
The Free Guy emote challenges in full…
• Get hit by a moving vehicle
• Place coins around the map x 3
• Reboot or revive teammates, or interact with campfires
• Take melee damage
• Talk with any NPC
• Use Free Guy Emote near opponent
