Nintendo Switch is £50 off in Morrisons Black Friday 2021 sale

As part of its own Black Friday offers, Morrisons is selling Nintendo Switch consoles at an 18% discount until the end of the week.

Chances are, with all the Black Friday offers going around, you’ve already seen discounts on Nintendo Switch consoles at select retailers. Nintendo itself has started offering bundles via its website and now even Morrisons is pushing its own deal.

Morrisons’ main Black Friday offer is half price breakfasts at its cafés, but it has a toy range as well, which includes a Nintendo Switch for £230. As a reminder, the console is normally priced at £279.99, making it £50 cheaper at Morrisons.

At the time of writing, this makes it the cheapest alternative, with both Amazon and Currys selling it for £259.99. However, this deal only consists of the console itself and comes with no additional games or a subscription to Nintendo’s online service.

It also doesn’t appear to be available on Morrison’s website, so you’ll need to pop into the actual shop if you want to take advantage of the offer.

All of Morrisons’ Black Friday offers have gone live today and will last until the end of the week, specifically on Sunday, November 28. Aside from the Nintendo Switch, the other main offer aimed at kids is a Lego Harry Potter set going for £52.99 instead of £74.99.

Just before the weekend, both Sony and Microsoft also shared their own Black Friday deals available on the PlayStation and Xbox digital storefronts. The list of discounted games is frankly massive, but you can find a compilation of the top deals here for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and here for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

If you’re wondering where the Black Friday deals are for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, there unfortunately aren’t any at the time of writing. This is primarily because of how scarce the consoles still are thanks to the global chip shortage.

Sony has now set up a PlayStation Direct service here in the UK though, meaning you can sign up for a chance to receive an invite to buy a PlayStation 5.
