Christmas and New Years is a funny old time because you're so rushed off your feet that you sometimes overlook some really fantastic pieces of news.
With that in mind, we thought we would be remiss not to mention this piece of news that somehow passed us by over the 2019 festive period.
PS4 owners can download and play a completely free demo for one PlayStation 4 exclusive that had been previously deleted.
Earlier this year Sony launched a playable demo for Medievil, a remake of the PSOne classic originally launched over twenty years ago in 2000. Only as you might imagine, the game has undergone something of a makeover with numerous graphical and technical enhancements.
However, since Sony wanted you to actually buy the new remaster of the game, the ironically named 'Short-Lived Demo' was only available for a short period leading up to the games PS4 release in November.
But, the demo looks to have returned once more to the PSN store without the restrictions in place.

For those who don't recall what this 'Medievil' game is all about, or those who were too young to have played it the first time around, let us refresh your memory:
The game series was inspired by Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, and follows the story of an evil sorcerer named Zarok who is plotting to take over the kingdom of Gallowmere with his undead army.
Set in the year 1286 a charlatan knight – protagonist Sir Daniel Fortesque – was shot dead by the first arrow fired in combat whilst attempting to vanquish Zarok.
Zarok was killed in the battle, eventually, no thanks to Fortesque. But 100 years later, Zarok reappears and casts a spell over Gallowmere to awaken his undead army.
The same spell revives Fortesque, and the game follows his quest to earn the heroic status that was denied in his life proper.
Should you enjoy the game demo enough, you might want to pick up the full version over on the PlayStation Store.
At the time of writing Medievil is only £15.99, 30% off the usual £24.99 RRP. However, be quick, because this price is only available until 6/1/2020 11:59 pm.
After that time it will likely return to it's full price.
It;s also worth mentioning that if you complete the Short-Lived Demo you'll unlock Sir Dan’s Helmet, a special item rewarded for completing the demo.
So if you loved the game, but missed the challenge the first time around, you can once again obtained the exclusive in-game item.
When Daily Star reviewed Medievil back in October we gave the remaster a whopping 5/5, clearly impressed by the overhauled PSOne game.
"Other Ocean's reimagining of MediEvil is a respectful recreation of a unique classic," explained Daily Star reviewer, Phil Hayton .
"While some might think that the developers have gone down the safe route of a carbon copy recreation, it's clear that a lot of work that has gone into retaining MediEvil's original charm."
"The result? A gorgeous display of creative affection for a series limited by its original console confinement.
"Hopefully, this remake will cement the franchise back into Sony's recurring lineup, preventing it from being buried in its generational grave once again."
