Ubisoft’s massively multiplayer extreme sports game Riders Republic is available as a free download.

With the full release date just one week away, fans can get a taste of the action as part of a free trial.

As part of the free trial week, fans can play Riders Republic for up to four hours on any platform.

Best of all, you can play Riders Republic ahead of launch without a pre-order, or any kind of pre-registration.

“The Trial Week is totally free and doesn’t require any prior registration,” reads an Ubisoft post.

“It will be accessible for download on all platforms starting October 21st at 9 am CEST. On consoles, you can find it in your console’s store by searching for “Riders Republic Trial Week” and download it for free.

“On PC, you can find it on the Epic Games Store store by searching for “Riders Republic Trial Week” and download it for free.

“You can also play via Ubisoft Connect PC by using the link that will be added to this page starting October 21st at 9 am CEST.”

To get the most out of the trial week, users are encouraged to fully exit the game once they finish a session.

“Riders! When you’re done playing Trial Week for the day, Fully exit the game so your timer doesn’t run out. Better safe than sorry!”

Ubisoft has also confirmed the size of the download, revealing that Riders Republic clocks in at around 23 GB.

Finally, any progress made during the trial will be carried over to the full game, provided you use an Ubisoft Connect account.

If you haven’t seen much of Riders Republic, the upcoming Ubisoft game is kind of like an expanded version of Steep.

Instead of just winter sports, gliding and wingsuits, the game features downhill BMX biking.

“Grab your bike, skis, snowboard, or wingsuit and explore an open world sports paradise where the rules are yours to make – or break.

You can play against 19 other players in a massively-multiplayer world that includes locations such as Yosemite, Zion, and Bryce Canyon.
