Football Manager, Sega's incredibly detailed series that sees you step into the suit (or tracksuit) of a manager is returning in November with the 2020 edition of the game.

With that being next month, it's somewhat surprising that we still don't have a firm release date. If history is anything to go by, it'll hit PC and Mac in early November – so expect to say goodbye to your loved ones from then onwards.

Football Manager 2020 features a few tweaks that place added importance on the long-term success of a club. For one, the board will now look to push for younger players to be given a chance in the first-team if they feel it suits the club's vision. Backroom staff are also now much more helpful, while graphics are also improved.

New to the game is the Playing Time Pathway system, which means from signing a player you can discuss a player's playing time for the current season as well as the next few – meaning you'll no longer have to throw your 16-year-old "wunderkind" straight into the first team in order to keep him happy.

There's even an Arsenal version of the game coming , if that floats your boat.
