Geralt of Rivia and Ciri from The Witcher 3 are joining the mech battle action game Daemon X Machinasee dealDaemon X Machina$49.94on Amazon thanks to a new free DLC pack. There’s also no need to wait as the DLC pack is available today.
Daemon X Machina is a third-person mech action game developed by Armored Core producer Kenichiro Tsukuda. Players can customize their mech pilots in the game however they want, but with the new DLC, they’ll be able to make their characters look like the two heroes from CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher.
This isn’t the first time Geralt or Ciri have made cameos in another game series. Geralt is one of the guest fighters in Soul Calibur 6, and the pair were both added to Monster Hunter: World. The Daemon X Machina crossover is somewhat of a left-field choice considering how there’s not a whole lot of crossover between the medieval fantasy world of The Witcher and Daemon X Machina’s sci-fi mech setting. But considering Geralt and Ciri’s popularity, it likely doesn’t matter too much. You can next find Geralt and Ciri in Netflix’s live-action adaptation of The Witcher premiering on December 20. The live-action series is an adaptation of the original fantasy novels and not the video games, however, so don’t be surprised if the series doesn’t resemble CD Projekt Red’s video game.CD Projekt meanwhile is working on Cyberpunk 2077, a new sci-fi RPG based on the popular tabletop RPG. Ironically, Cyberpunk would make a nice crossover for Daemon X Machina, at least more so than The Witcher.
