The wait for a GTA 6 release date goes on, and as more time passes by, the hungrier gamers are getting to hear more about next open world, sandbox Rockstar Games title.
Whilst we can't give you any new information about when the game will come out, or what it'll feature, we can exercise a little bit of creativity and tell you what we think the next game in the series may look like.
Rumours abound that the next Grand Theft Auto title seem to suggest that we'll be getting a retread of the Vice City areas in the game.
According to rumours that have been circulating on the internet for a few years (originating on Pastebin), GTA6 will focus on the East Coast: Vice City and Liberty City, satirizing Miami and New York respectively.
In October last year, (in)famous Rockstar source, @Yan2295 posted that a Rockstar affiliated agent had been scouting locations that match up with the Vice City aesthetic.
A store owner in Florida spoke about being asked if their premises could be visited by location scouts, the suggestion here is that the location would be for a project like GTA 6, or potentially a GTA Vice City sequel .
This is some of the strongest evidence we have at the moment that points to what Rockstar could be working on next.
And one artist out there is taking it a step further – showing us what a next-gen interpretation of a favourite Vice City location will look like.
You can take a look through the incredible art in the gallery below.

GTA 6 Release Rumours, Leaks and News
Bavo Debraekeleer has posted a series of images to ArtStation showing off what he thinks a next-gen take on Vice City's famous penthouse would look like.
"My reimagining of the Ocean View Hotel room safehouse in Grand Theft Auto Vice City, made with Unreal Engine 4," he notes on his description of the images.
You'll notice that there are some more realistic character portraits in the renders, too – Debraekeleer notes these come from Brandon Arseneault.
Even though these images were uploaded an impressive four years ago, they offer a pretty decent look at what Vice City would look like on modern consoles.
Since GTA 6 is rumoured to have a shorter campaign than GTA V , could we see Rockstar invest in even greater graphical fidelity and a smaller world? It's a realistic possibility.
We'll keep you updated as we learn more about the next Rockstar Game.
