Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection To Launch In October According To Epic Store Leak

The PC port for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection still doesn't have an official launch date. However, due to a number of goof ups by two major platforms, the speculated date of launch is October 19, 2022. While it was SteamDB that let it slip in June, this time it's the Epic Games Store, who not only revealed the date, but also a few details about the collection. Epic put up and quickly took down a store page for the collection along with the date.

"The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, remastered and optimized for PC, hits Epic Games Store on Oct. 19, and if you pre-purchase it, you'll get a snazzy new Fortnite glider in the shape of Sully's seaplane," said the store page before it was taken down. "To grab the seaplane, digitally and figuratively, you just need to pre-purchase the wonderful Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection from the Epic Games Store started Sept. XX. You get the glider immediately following your pre-purchase. Or you can wait for the seaplane to hit the Fortnite item shop on Nov. 17."

The page is still available to view thanks to a quick screen grab by Wario 64, and PC Gamer's Andy Chalk also witnessed it himself.

Nathan Drake – both the movie and video game version – has already made his way into Fortnite. Considering the antics he's gotten up to till date, it won't be surprising to see him glide down holding onto the bottom of a miniature version of Sully's seaplane, and proceed to ruthlessly murder everyone.

After the Legacy of Thieves Collection and The Last of Us Part 1, it looks like Naughty Dog may finally move onto a new IP. A wall of artwork that can be found somewhere in TLOU Part 1 features a pegasus and a woman with a giant sword. The fact that this didn't appear in the original or the remaster has prompted fans to theorize that the studio is teasing its next project, evidently a fantasy title of some kind.

Naughty Dog has a history of dropping hints like this. Back in Uncharted 3, a newspaper headline read, "Scientists are still struggling to understand deadly fungus". Remind you of something?
