The latest Xbox Series X restock event was held on UK retailer’s GAME website today.
Several different Xbox Series bundles can be found while searching through the site, with the additional option of using the Xbox All Access subscription service.
It’s unclear how long stock the lasted, as next-gen consoles have been flying off shelves in recent weeks.
And for the moment, it looks like only Xbox Series S consoles remain available to buy on January 21.
It might still be possible to use Xbox All Access; however, that route to buy a console includes jumping through additional hoops.
The encouraging news is that this latest Xbox Series X restock has stuck around much longer than others.
And that suggests Microsoft is either providing more consoles to buy, or that demand is slowly dropping off.
As mentioned above, only Xbox Series S stock remains at GAME, but other retailers are refreshing their stock soon.
One of the next places to offer the chance to buy an Xbox Series X console will be Box.co.uk.
Box uses a ballot system, meaning you have to head over to the website and sign up to the ballot with an email address.
This means accepting certain terms and conditions and does not guarantee that you will get a console.
The system used makes it possible for Box to randomly select who gets one of the next-gen consoles.
The good news is that Box will be restocking the Xbox Series X twice more before the end of the month.
Xbox reveal the upcoming Series X console
The timing for the new ballot selection has not been announced, but if you head over to the site and sign up, you won’t need to keep an eye out for the latest news.
Instead, an email should be sent to you if you have been successfully selected to buy a console.
A message from Box adds: “We will be getting two waves of stock towards the end of January for the Xbox Series X and S consoles.
“Those who have entered will be communicated 24hrs before the draw is made.
“Please keep an eye on our social media, where we will announce when the emails are sent out to lucky winners. The ballots will be taking place at the end of January.”
While both Microsoft consoles will be restocking at Box this month, there are big differences between the two consoles.
Not only is the Series S console cheaper but it comes with some other notable drawbacks, including:
When buying a new console, Xbox gamers should know that there is a big difference between the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.
“The primary difference between Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S is in resolution.
“Through talking to our customers, we found that many of our fans prioritize framerate over resolution, so we wanted to build a console that didn’t require a 4K TV.
“Xbox Series S delivers approximately 3x the GPU performance of Xbox One and was designed to play games at 1440p at 60 frames per second, with support for up to 120fps.”
